So much for sleep! The Smallest is poorly, we (I) have been up since 2am and fading fast unlike the washing pile! Will the Tallest be struck down before her shining performance at Nursery today?
So if the family health deteriorates wildly expect no post today. Heres hoping you and your family are happy and healthy, unlike mine it would appear! GT xxxxx

I'm the Coeliac in the family, and so far Eldest (MFS) has come up clear but I have yet to have the Youngest tested - Apparently its not uncommon for people with MFS to have digestive disorders then again it appears that its not uncommon to have all sorts of things with MFS!! I've been diagnosed with Coeliac ever since my 4yo was born, I found the adjustment very easy especially because it made me feel SO much better, it helps that I have always had a well rounded diet. If your husband is keen on convenience he may need to re-educate himself somewhat!

I found your site through a Marfan search, like Jaime did. I'm glad that you and your daughter were able to get a firm diagnosis! I know what a relief that can be. I've been volunteering with the National Marfan Foundation for over a decade and if you haven't already, I hope that you will consider getting involved with them. Their website is www.marfan.org and we also have our own social networking site, which is a WONDERFUL place to connect: http://nmfconnect.marfan.org. Jamie and I are both on there :-)

Also, I noticed Coeliac on your category cloud list...does someone in your family have it? My husband was just diagnosed with it last month.

So after two days of not bearing any weight on it, she is finally beginning to put her paw down, she's favouring it badly, but its an awful lot more than she has been doing - perhaps we can avoid the GA and X-rays after all....we're all keeping our fingers (and paws) crossed.

An update for Poppit, following a visit to the Vets, she has a suspected fractured shoulder. She's being given a couple of days just to make sure that it isn't just soft tissue damage.

Its a bit of a wait and see really, she's been given a 24hour pain relieving injection, and tablets to follow, but if no improvement is made then its back on Friday for the KO and some X-rays to really get to grips with it.

And all for falling over for a ball....its a dogs life....
